errore update-grub

quando installo un nuovo kernel ho questo errore:

Sono occorsi degli errori processando:

Ho visto in /usr/share/doc/grub/News.Debian.gz che update-grub ha cambiato path, quindi ho modificato /etc/kernel-img.cof come specificato nel file ma ho sempre lo stesso errore,secondo voi cosa può essere??
