non parte server X con i driver proprietari nvidia

Ciao a tutti ho installato debian al posto di ubuntu (questa finalmente mi rileva il western sata2)
Il problema è che se metto i driver proprietari nvidia i 100.xx.xx nn mi si avvia il server X
e mi dà un errore SCREEN NO FOUND il log di XORG è questo:

Come posso risolvere.....a me interesserebbe il 3d per il game e per compiz-fusion

P.S ho provato anche con module-assistant ma nn cambia nulla accedo a X solo con i vesa

Grazie mille della risposta nn ci avevo fatto caso....

Per abilitare il 3d come faccio??ho messo i driver nvidia ho il logo nvidia quando accedo a Debian etch ho direct rendering su yes ma per beryl e compiz cosa devo ancora fare??
