cpuscaling .. breve domanda

Ma per i cpu nn per portatili .. quelli dei desktop .. tipo il mi athlonxp 1800 .. sono dotati di scaling .. perchè continuo
a provare   :sboing:  ma niente .. nn va !

oltre alle opzioni nel kernel hai installato ad esempio powernowd per il controllo della cpufreq?

certo .. ma mi dice che nn è montato il /sys .. che è montato !! .. e poi ho abilitato tutto il necessario del kernel ma niente .. e allora mi è sorto questo dubbio!

quindi non penso sia supportato il cpuscaling...

non dice che non è montato, ma che non trova quello che cerca: se il processore non supporta il cpuscaling, non saranno presenti i file di supporto al cpuscaling...

anche io ho lo stesso problema...

il mio è un athlon-xp mobile 2500+ e con il kernel 2.6.11.7 non ho nessun problema...
il messaggio precedente lo trovo al boot solo se uso kernel >= 2.6.12....

come si può risolvere?
