Non riesco a capire come configurare la stampante, premetto che sia il printserver che la stampante funzionano (sia da Windows XP che da Kubuntu Feisty -> Gutsy -> Hardy), l'ho sempre configurato come ipp://192.168.0.64 (è il suo IP) e la porta vedo che usa la 9100, se lo "pingo" risponde benissimo, posso entrare nel suo pannello di configurazione e vedo che tutto è ok:

Oggi mi son messo con buon umore e pazienza cercando di risolvere, dopo un certo quantitativo di tentativi (e sigarette, e aspirine..) sono arrivato alla soluzione, non so perchè ma su Gnome non la devo impostare come "ipp" ma bensi "lpd", in pratica il percorso della stampante (ora) risulta questo:

la prima parte è l'IP della stampante stessa, la seconda è l'ID che vede il printserver:

comunque l'importante è che funziona alla grande, mizziga che sudata  tongue
