...a questo punto mi domando......è il config che è cambiato o è effettivamente il kernel ad avere problemi? ( le prove sopracitate con ubuntu mi fanno pensare al kernel..... ma in fondo sono poi prove affidabili visto che ubuntu è una snapshot di sid anche se modificata?)

ore 3.42 della mattina.....ho sognato di mettere il 2.6.18 della etch su sid e vedere se andava bene......c***o.....era un sogno permonitore!!!!!!:D il kernel 2.6.18 funziona.....tutti gli altri pacchetti invariati......ho trovato il bug che è presente dalla 2.6.24!!!!!.....kernel vanilla......aspettatemi....adesso vado a nanna

acpi listen "sente" la pressione del tasto solo la prima volta che il pannello viene chiuso dalla seconda in poi acpi_listen non "sente" più niente da parte del tasto del monitor ed infatti il monitor stesso non si spegne+....

ho un problema: posseggo un compaq nx6110 il quale chiudendo il monitor la prima volta dall' accensione tutto funziona in modo regolare (il monitor si spegne come da impostazioni) dalla seconda volta in poi il tasto non viene più "sentito" dal pc cioè se lo schiaccio o no il monitor non si spegne più!!!

A chi devo aprire un bug report? acpid?

da quanto ho capito dovrei ripristinare le regole delle iptables con iptables -F ma se lancio il comando openwrt và in palla e si blocca tutto!! 
come posso ovviare?

Racconto tutto.....
Accendo il pc,lavoro tutto contento di avere la sid "pulita" e quando suonano alla porta prendo e abbasso il monitor....ritorno e immetto la password in quanto il monitor si è spento come da impostazioni.....ora lo abbasso una seconda volta e non si spegne più!!!!
Come mai questa stranezza? ed è sistematica la cosa!

appena ho un pò di tempo descrivo in maniera generale come montare un backup di un hd con losetup sulla wiki....se siete daccordo....

Ora non vorrei sparere cavolate ma se l'immagine e' quella di un disco partizionato dovresti provare a fare qualcosa del tipo:

losetup /dev/loop0 /path/immagine

poi fai un fdisk -lu /dev/loop0

ti segni il blocco da cui inizia la partizione che ti interessa
e lo usi in offset miltiplicato per 512 per ottenere il numero di byte.

poi fai
mount -o loop,offset=n*512 /path/immagine /mnt/temp

...sinceramente non so se funziona perche' non ho mai provato.

i problemi si presentano con i kernel 18 22 23 e 24...tutti quelli precompilati debian che io abbia provato....
compilato da me dai vanilla (2.6.24 e 2.6.22) senza alcuna patch acpid non dà problemi ma rimane il fatto che anche con i vanilla debba essere costretto ad usare i driver vesa altrimenti  se usassi i driver intel quando meno me l' aspetto, randomicamente, il buio improvviso del monitor e costrizione a riavviare nemmeno si accede alle console!!!!

in /var/log/syslog viene generato come potete vedere, in continuazione questo messaggio:

questo provoca l' oscuramento del monitor nel momento in cui decidessi di utilizzare xserver-video-intel cioè quelli per la mia scheda video
nel momento in cui uso i driver VESA il monitor non si oscura, il pc sembra funzionare ma syslog continua a dare quei messaggi....cosa posso fare?
